A quick reminder that A Snail's Pace is hosting our XC night this Wednesday from 5-7.
The Alumni Run was held at Olinda Ranch for the 5th consecutive year and was fantastic. This is always a great event for bring our current and former athletes together. Thank you to A Snail's Pace Running Shop, our Cross Country Booster Club, parents, and alumni for making the event so memorable. Long-time booster parent All-Stars, Ken & Cheryl Case, were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Our athlete inductees into the Hall of Fame were Chris Balik (class of 2004) and Sarah Whitaker (class of 2007). LOST PHONE: If anyone picked up a Samsung phone in a blue case, please email me. This year on men's side the BOHS athletes blew the Alumni team out of the water 18-52. The women's side was narrowly won by the Alumni 236-242. Here are the results As usual the Alumni Run helps us decide who will be invited to annual camp which will be held in Mammoth from 8/12-16 (specific details to come). The recommended donation for camp is $250 for the five day trip. This year is more expensive because we are staying in cabins which cost $140/athlete for the trip. I'd like to mention, as I think some people may be unsure, that the coaches do not make any money off of camp. All donations are used to cover the cost of camp. If you are unable to make the suggested donation please let Coach Rainwater or Mattern know and we'll make sure your athlete is able to attend; checks should be made out to BOHS XC Booster Club.
