Just a quick note for tonight. Thanks to all of the athletes for being great team mates and seeing the meet through. Here's a direct link to the results from tonight and a link to our season's best.
If you see Elisa Trujillo walking around campus recognize that you are in the presence of greatness. This young lady has been on our team for about two months and has already put a large dent on our record books. Prior to Trujillo's arrival to our track team N. Chabot was the 10th best jumper in the long jump. Last week Trujillo told Chabot that her mark from 1989, established a decade before Trujillo was born, had to go by flying to the 7th best long jump in school history with a mark of 16-11. Tonight Trujillo made the same statement by ridding N. Chabot from the record books once again. How is that possible you ask? This time Trujillo landed herself in the 4th spot all-time for BOHS in the triple jump with a mark of 35-7 and once again Chabot happened to the previous 10th best mark. Great job and GO WILDCATS!
