Hello to all,
This week we will participate in our league finals held at Yorba Regional Park. The boys and girls teams are part of the Century Conference which has two leagues, the girls will race on Tuesday in the North Hills League and the boys will race on Wednesday in the Crestview League. Here are the race levels and race times. If you don't see your name on the list and you think that you should be listed please see me ASAP; all healthy athletes are racing. Athletes will be released at 11:05 on the day they are racing and the bus will depart at 11:20 a.m. for Yorba Regional Park. We will have a return bus leaving Yorba Regional Park at 4:45 both days. Athletes who are not racing on Tuesday and Wednesday check in with Coach Valenti on Tuesday and Coach Sherman on Wednesday. League Finals is the qualifying meet for CIF Prelims; the top 2 teams from each league automatically advance to CIF. The boys have won the league title for a number of years and the ladies are also the defending league champions. We will take as few as 9 and as many as 12 athletes to CIF based on the results from this meet. Please remember that if you are trying to make the CIF team you are racing the clock and thus competing against athletes in other races for those spots. Good luck and GO WILDCATS!!!
