Saturday distance Practice 2/13/16

The Olympic Trials for the Marathon will be held this Saturday in Los Angeles. This is a great opportunity for our team to support the best runners in the country and our sport. Many of the athletes on the distance team have asked if they could miss practice to attend the race. With this in mind we have decided to split practice for this Saturday. If you are not going to attend the Trials we will have practice at Olinda Ranch at 8:00 a.m. If you are planning on attending the Trials you'll need to make travel arrangements. 

I would strongly encourage parents and athletes to make the 23 mile drive to watch this event. The top men will likely hold 5:00 minute pace and the ladies 5:30 which is a sight to see. There is no cost to attend the event and this will be an event that you will remember for a lifetime.
